The Chile Strategy Conference is hosted by Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and co-sponsored by the Academy of Management’s STR Division and by Strategy Science. Our main goal is to strengthen the growing network of strategy scholars in Latin America, and to form and enrich the links with academics elsewhere in the world. A large spectrum of areas within strategy, both empirically and theoretically, are covered by speakers confirmed so far: Victor Bennett, Francisco Brahm, Felipe Csaszar, Daniel Levinthal, Metin Sengul, Brian Wu and Todd Zenger. We expect high-quality submissions in all fields of knowledge within the discipline so as to have a memorable conference. The deadline to send a full paper or a long abstract is September 15. The call for papers can be found here.
Registration fee: US$ 500 if paid before October 15 (inclusive) and US$ 550 after that date.
Conference Location: The conference will be held in Campus San Joaquín (Av. Vicuña Mackenna 4860, 7820436 Macul, Región Metropolitana).
Recommendations for your Stay: For your safety and convenience, we recommend booking a hotel or Airbnb in Providencia or Las Condes, and then taking the metro to get to the campus. If you are staying in these communes, you can usually take the red line and then take a combination in Baquedano to get to the station San Joaquín.
